The Knife are probably not everybody's cup of tea!
They are a brother and sister from Sweden. The sister sometimes goes solo under the name Fever Ray, and she's on the (disappointing!) billing at Electric Picnic this year.
Manuel recently told me that he bought one of their albums and hates it, I can understand why because they have a lot of crazy songs. You might need to be on mind-bending drugs to enjoy certain tracks, but I think that their weirdness is also what makes them so cool!
I'm throwing in the video because I like it, and it's a good introduction to The Knife's style. Also, notice the remix is by Ratatat (who I posted a couple of weeks ago). Those guys have taken one of The Knifes batshit-crazy songs and made it deadly!

I actually like that remix, could never really get my head around the original of that song. But the Knife have some epic stuff, songs like silent shout are amazing.
I would seriously champion Fever Ray, her album's weird, but I can't really find a fault with it, as a whole it's brilliant.

Just watching the video, A part of me says "hey she's not half bad", but another part of me says "wtf, thats clearly a man".
Seriously, is it just me, or does she have the structure of a man? (face and body).
I'm not tryin to put her down, but in some bits of the video, things are seriously questionable.
